1What mcvalue.gg is

mcvalue.gg is a website on which Minecraft Java accounts can be looked up. For every account we show publicly available data and an estimate of what it is worth and why.

mcvalue.gg does not buy or sell accounts, does not broker sales and is not a marketplace. We never ask for the login details of a Minecraft or Microsoft account.

mcvalue.gg is not connected to Mojang AB or Microsoft. The terms of use of Minecraft continue to apply independently of these terms; whether and how an account may be transferred is governed by them.

2What an estimate is, and what it is not

The amounts shown are estimates from observed listings and sales. They are not an offer to buy, not an assurance of an achievable price, and not financial or legal advice.

An estimate applies to a permanently licensed account under the full control of its owner. Much of what determines the price of an account is invisible to us, for example bans on servers or previous owners. With every estimate we show how well it is supported.

Owner counts, name histories and cape lists come from third parties and can be incomplete or out of date.

3Account

The search and all profiles can be used without an account. You need an account to link a Minecraft account and to decide how it is presented.

• An account belongs to one person. Keep your password and your recovery codes secret.
• Without a stored e-mail address we can restore an account only with a recovery code or through the linked Minecraft account.
• You can delete your account in the settings at any time.

4Linking a Minecraft account

You may link only an account that you control yourself. The proof runs through our Minecraft server and a code; you do not enter any login details for it.

If somebody else later proves control of the same account, the link passes to that person. A link never changes a valuation.

5What is not allowed

• automated mass queries, reading out the site on a large scale, and circumventing limits;
• attacks on the site, its users or the services it obtains data from;
• having other people’s profiles hidden under false statements;
• using the site to deceive others, for instance by passing off an estimate as a guaranteed price or as an offer by mcvalue.

In case of violations we may limit requests, block an account or remove a link.

6Premium

Premium is a voluntary subscription. It changes the look of your own profile and a few comfort limits. It never changes a valuation, and hiding is never a Premium perk.

The seller and contracting party is Tebex Limited (see the imprint). Price, payment, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds are governed by Tebex’s terms and are handled there. As long as the purchase has not been activated, Premium cannot be bought.

7Availability and changes to the service

We strive for reliable operation but do not owe a particular availability. The site depends on external services; if they fail, we show the last known state.

We keep developing the valuation model. Estimates can change as a result; we document changes to the model in the methodology.

8Liability

Our liability is unlimited in cases of intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law does not prescribe otherwise.

We accept no responsibility for decisions somebody makes on the basis of an estimate.

9Changes and applicable law

If we change these terms substantially, we tell signed-in users on the site before the change takes effect.
